A Few of My Favorite Things

I love listening to others tell me about the things that they love. As I write, I sometimes mention planning tools, podcasts, books, and other favorites. This is a page to link all of those different things. Some of the links are personal referral links, and when this is the case I mention it! Like most other people, I enjoy talking about the things that I love. If you are curious about any of these different products, please feel free tor each out to elisabeth@mission-today.com. I would love to chat!

Side note, you can see may of my favorites gathered together on my Amazon List: Mission Today Favorites.

I have been using PowerSheets from Cultivate What Matters since 2021. My color this year is verbena. I do my yearly goal planning and tracking in this.
I have been using Silk + Sonder on and off since 2022. It is a wellness journal. I currently use the digital format on my iPad.
Sunsama is a time management tool. I also use it as task management. It is one of my favorite tools! I have the annual subscription.

I have a morning prayer rhythm that I love. I talk about it in Post #6 when I talk about my faith goal for the year. These are the products I am currently using and loving each morning.

I start with this journal from Mary Square. This brand has lots of great journals you can see here. This particular one is called a “prayer journal.” I don’t think they make these anymore. Last time I checked, you can buy them at DaySpring. The inside is pictured below. It has a section for worries, praises, prayers, and God’s promises which I use for Bible verses I’m memorizing.
This is my Bible. It was created as a collaboration between Blessed is She and Our Sunday Visitor (OSV). The translation in New American Bible (Revised Edition), and it has lines on every page for journaling. It also has gorgeous pages with quotes throughout that I use to color and doodle. You can get it here.
This is the case I keep my Bible in. It is also Mary Square, just like my prayer journal. I cannot find this particular pattern anymore, but there are many available on Amazon and some on Mary Square’s website.
I use a black pen and these Hi-Glider Highlighters in my Bible. I love these things. They have lasted forever! You can find them here.
I love this book. It is thirty-one chapters. I pray a chapter each day, and then I start over each month.
I write about the previous day each morning in this journal. I love that I can see what has happened on a given day stretching back to 2022. I have not always been diligent, but I started doing this daily in October 2024. This is what the inside looks like:
I love my morning prayer routine. Recently, I have been experimenting with starting an evening routine. I have tried a few different things, and this is my favorite right now. This book follows the structure of the Examen by Saint Ignatius of Loyola.
