I have already mentioned that I love the company Cultivate What Matters. I have used their goal planning system called PowerSheets since 2021. Each month, I look forward to reading their email called “The Little-by-Little Letter.” This email is structured off of theirs!

Important To-Do’s: I have to have two ultrasounds and some lab work done this month to prepare for our transfer. Also, our transfer is this month!
On My Calendar: We took a weekend away to a local beach with our family on the 1st and 2nd.
The college is having an Ignatian Day of Service that I signed up for on the 8th.
I am hoping to get my classes planned well enough to participate in Blessed is She’s virtual retreat on the Eucharist from the 14th to 17th.
The college has Opening Day which is meetings with the president and provost on the 21st.
Sean and I will be in Pigeon Forge the 24th through the 28th for my transfer on the 26th.
Also, classes start the 25th! Busy month.
On My Mind: Not surprisingly, the main thing on my mind is our transfer and preparing my body for this. I started taking lupron injections and finished my kelnor, so we are making progress!

App: I signed up to work with a dietician through Nourish. It is covered by our insurance, and I am really enjoying it and learning so much. I love the app the dietitians use. It allows you to take pictures of your food and AI calculates the macros.
Podcast: I am loving Before Breakfast by Laura Vanderkam. Most episodes are super short, and they are nice to listen in the morning while I am getting ready.
Music: We used Forrest Frank’s song “Your Way’s Better” at Vacation Bible School this summer, and I am loving it.
Book: I am reading the final book in the Bailey Brothers series. The first four were about four brothers, but this one is about their niece. It’s called Alice Taylors is More Than a Princess by Jen Atkinson, and it has been cute so far!
Food: I am making avocado toast almost everyday right now. I use a slice of the thin Dave’s Killer bread, avocado mash from Costco, an egg, Parmesan cheese, tomato, red onion, and a balsamic vinegar glaze. It is so delicious!

What habit are you cultivating? Right now, I am working on going to the gym! I am trying to go at least twice a week.
What’s been working well? I cancelled my membership to the gym that is fifteen minutes from our house and have been going to our small neighborhood gym. It is almost always empty, so I can play my music out loud. It also feels much easier to just go right up the road every morning! It has definitely been helping with my consistency!
